I found the Babyliss Ceramic Pro heats up quickly in only 30 seconds (like all Babyliss Hair Straighteners). Its maximum temperature is 230 degrees Celsius which makes it great for all hair types. However, it has only 2 heat settings: 230 degrees celsius for thick curly hair and the lower temperature for thin and dyed hair. If you are still not sure which temperature to choose, you can go with the low temperature for the starter and upgrade to a higher temperature if it wasn’t enough for your hair type to avoid heat damage. As a general rule, it’s less damaging to apply higher heat for less time than to apply lower heat for a long time.

The two-meter swivel cord is just fine. Many other Babyliss Straighteners come with a longer cord but this swivel cord will do the job too. 

The rounded barrel of the styler allows you to use it to curl or put waves through your hair, as well as use it as a straightener. 

I loved the heat protection mat. It is great for protecting the Babyliss Ceramic pro 230 straighteners before storage.
